The Team:
The mission for the People Ops department is to be the support system of the company. Our goal is to ensure the daily life of the office is well maintained. We encompass many aspects of the company, from Finance, Human Resources and General Administration. The department's value lies on the team's work efficiency accompanied by compassionate hearts.
Responsibilities:
- Help head of ops develop strategies for recruiting, onboarding, and improve employee retention and employee development.
- Drive company fun activities and make sure people are happy. Be able to communicate good news and bad news well.
- Create tight loophole-proof HR documents that prevent the companies from being sued or have legal problems
- Understand Indonesia’s legal system and can give advice on how to approach a clever solution that’s safe yet effective from legal perspective
- Create HR Policies that follow best practice
- Construct payroll and understand tax related to payroll, employee benefits and others
- Negotiate best price for best compensation package from insurance vendors, and other vendors
- Handle employees request and understand how to best handle their complaints, concerns and question in a diplomatic and reasonable way.
- Negotiate with current and potential employees to retain and close them.
About You:
- Has more than 3 years experience working as HR in a >200 people company.
- Understand legalities of Indonesia workforce law
- Understand company needs and can give the best advice to fulfill company needs.
- Familiar with legal documents and government policies
- An individual with a strong sense of responsibilities and independence
- Meticulous, well-organized, able to multi-task
- Willing to travel around the city
- Can communicate well both verbally and written
- Personable and can mix well with different type of people
- Work fast and computer savvy
